I’m a fourth-year PhD student in the Department of Communication at Michigan State University. My research program draws on interpersonal, family, and health communication research to examine how individuals cope with stress and provide support to others during stress. I explore how coping and support shape relational dynamics and health outcomes in close relationships such as romantic relationships, parent-child relationships, and friendships, as well as within broader social networks and technology-mediated contexts.
